January Blues

Well, January is now half over and I'm ready for spring.  I live in Denver, CO and the snow was so bad in the mountains this morning that you absolutely couldn't get there from here.  Highways closed, etc. etc.  I'm now more than ready for warm weather. 

I'm busily working on a new afghan to put in My Studio on ArtFire.  It will be shades of green and brown and is really pretty.  Keep checking back as I hope to have it done in a couple of weeks and it would make a wonderful gift for celebrating spring with the greens of a new season.

Leprechauns Waiting To Grant Wishes

A Leprechaun is a type of fairy in Irish folklore usually taking the form of an old man clad in a red or green coat who enjoys partaking in mischief.  The Leprechauns spend all their time busily making shoes and store away all their coins in a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  If ever captured by a human, the Leprechaun has the magical power to grant three wishes in exchange for their release.
